What makes your day better? What brightens up your day? For me, it’s a conversation with others: my family, friends, or even with strangers that I happened to start talking to. On this podcast, hosted by a toast and croissant loving individual, Yuki Hayashi, I am sharing the stories from the interactions with others that I find inspiring and encouraging as well as funny and relaxing.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing a conversation with a guy from Somalia who moved to the UK when he was a child. He has shared with me why he came to the UK, what’s happened in Somalia in 1990s and what it’s like to live in a non-Muslim country as a Muslim. He talked about many things I didn’t know, which taught me a lot within a short period of time. And that is why I’m sharing this interview today.
As the interview was done near the construction site, the background noise is relatively loud, but I hope you will enjoy this episode.
